Nia joined Powell Radomsky, PLLC, in 2014. She provides the attorneys with solid and reliable assistance and serves as a listening ear to our clients. In addition to family law, Nia also has experience in corporate governance law and product liability law.
Family law clients are often faced with a variety of emotional situations. Nia presents a calm, helpful and supportive demeanor as she handles their immediate needs, while patiently explaining procedures. While our clients experience open and frequent communication with their attorney, Nia is an additional liaison between the clients and our firm. Our family law attorneys look to her often as the initial contact with our clients. She is also relied upon by the attorneys for drafting legal documents, meeting directly with the clients and assisting with trial preparation and litigation, as well as scheduling appointments and court appearances.
Nia received her Bachelor of Science degree in legal studies with a minor in political science from the University of Maryland University College. Nia is a member of the Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society and Pi Gamma Mu, an honor society that recognizes outstanding scholarship in the social sciences. She earned her paralegal certificate from the nationally acclaimed Paralegal Certificate course at George Mason University.
Nia is a co-founder and serves as secretary on the board of directors for Giving On Another Level, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping the underprivileged in her community.
